وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِي هَذَا الْقُرْآنِ لِلنَّاسِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ وَكَانَ الْإِنسَانُ أَكْثَرَ شَيْءٍ جَدَلاً {54} وَمَا مَنَعَ النَّاسَ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا إِذْ جَاءهُمُ الْهُدَى وَيَسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّهُمْ إِلَّا أَن تَأْتِيَهُمْ سُنَّةُ الْأَوَّلِينَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ قُبُلاً {55} وَمَا نُرْسِلُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ وَيُجَادِلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِالْبَاطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوا بِهِ الْحَقَّ وَاتَّخَذُوا آيَاتِي وَمَا أُنذِرُوا هُزُواً {56} وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن ذُكِّرَ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا وَنَسِيَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْراً وَإِن تَدْعُهُمْ إِلَى الْهُدَى فَلَن يَهْتَدُوا إِذاً أَبَداً {57} وَرَبُّكَ الْغَفُورُ ذُو الرَّحْمَةِ لَوْ يُؤَاخِذُهُم بِمَا كَسَبُوا لَعَجَّلَ لَهُمُ الْعَذَابَ بَل لَّهُم مَّوْعِدٌ لَّن يَجِدُوا مِن دُونِهِ مَوْئِلاً {58} وَتِلْكَ الْقُرَى أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا وَجَعَلْنَا لِمَهْلِكِهِم مَّوْعِداً {59} وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِفَتَاهُ لَا أَبْرَحُ حَتَّى أَبْلُغَ مَجْمَعَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ أَوْ أَمْضِيَ حُقُباً {60} فَلَمَّا بَلَغَا مَجْمَعَ بَيْنِهِمَا نَسِيَا حُوتَهُمَا فَاتَّخَذَ سَبِيلَهُ فِي الْبَحْرِ سَرَباً {61} سورة الكهف (18)

Hakikaten biz bu Kur`an`da insanlar için her türlü misali sayıp dökmüşüzdür. Fakat tartışmaya en çok düşkün varlık insandır. (54) Kendilerine hidayet geldiğinde insanları iman etmekten ve Rablerinden mağfiret talep etmekten alıkoyan şey, sadece, öncekilerin başına gelenlerin kendi başlarına da gelmesini, yahut azabın göz göre göre kendilerine gelmesini beklemeleridir! (55) Biz resûlleri, sadece müjdeleyiciler ve uyarıcılar olarak göndeririz. Kafir olanlar ise, hakkı, bâtıla dayanarak ortadan kaldırmak için bâtıl yolla mücadele verirler. Onlar âyetlerimizi ve uyarıldıkları şeyleri alaya almışlardır. (56) Kendisine Rabbinin âyetleri hatırlatılıp da ona sırt çevirenden, kendi elleriyle yaptığını unutandan daha zalim kim vardır! Biz onların kalplerine, bunu anlamalarına engel olan bir ağırlık, kulaklarına da sağırlık verdik. Sen onları hidayete çağırsan da artık ebediyen hidayete eremeyeceklerdir. (57) Senin, bağışı bol olan Rabbin merhamet sahibidir; şayet yaptıkları yüzünden onları (hemen) muaheze edecek olsaydı, onlara azabı çarçabuk verirdi. Fakat kendilerine tanınmış belli bir süre vardır ki, artık bundan kaçıp kurtulacakları bir sığınak bulamayacaklardır. (58) İşte şu ülkeler; zulmettikleri zaman onları helâk ettik. Onları helâk etmek için de belli bir zaman tayin etmiştik. (59) Bir vakit Musa genç adamına demişti ki: "Durup dinlenmeyeceğim; tâ iki denizin birleştiği yere kadar varacağım, yahut senelerce yürüyeceğim." (60) Her ikisi, iki denizin birleştiği yere varınca balıklarını unuttular. Balık, denizde bir yol tutup gitmişti. (61)

Wahrlich, Wir haben in diesem Qur`an den Menschen allerlei Gleichnisse erläutert, doch von allen Geschöpfen ist der Mensch am streitsüchtigsten. (54) Und nichts hinderte die Menschen daran zu glauben, als die Rechtleitung zu ihnen kam, und ihren Herrn um Verzeihung zu bitten, (es sei) denn, (sie warteten) bis das beispiel(hafte Schicksal) der Früheren über sie käme oder (ihnen) die Strafe offen vor Augen gehalten würde. (55) Und Wir schickten die Gesandten ja nur als Bringer froher Botschaft und als Warner. Die aber, die ungläubig sind, streiten in Falschheit, um dadurch die Wahrheit zu widerlegen. Und sie verspotten Meine Zeichen und das, womit sie gewarnt werden. (56) Und wer ist ungerechter als der, der an die Zeichen seines Herrn gemahnt wurde, sich aber von ihnen abwandte und vergaß, was seine Hände vorausgeschickt hatten? Wahrlich, Wir haben Schleier über ihre Herzen gelegt, so daß sie es nicht begreifen, und Taubheit in ihre Ohren. Und selbst wenn du sie zum rechten Weg rufst, werden sie nie den rechten Weg einschlagen. (57) Und dein Herr ist der Vergebungsreiche, voll der Barmherzigkeit. Wollte Er sie zur Rechenschaft ziehen für das, was sie begehen, dann würde Er gewiß ihre Bestrafung beschleunigen. Allein sie haben eine festgesetzte Frist, vor der sie keine Zuflucht finden werden. (58) Und diese Städte! Wir zerstörten sie, als sie Frevel begingen. Und Wir setzten eine Frist für ihre Zerstörung. (59) "Und Moses sagte zu seinem jungen Diener: ""Ich will nicht eher rasten, als bis ich den Zusammenfluß der beiden Meere erreicht habe, und sollte ich jahrhundertelang wandern."" (60) "Doch als sie den Zusammenfluß der beiden (Meere) erreicht hatten, da vergaßen sie ihren Fisch; und dieser nahm seinen Weg und schwamm ins Meer hinaus. (61)

And indeed We have put forth every kind of example in this Qur'ân, for mankind. But, man is ever more quarrelsome than anything. (54) And nothing prevents men from believing, (now) when the guidance (the Qur'ân) has come to them, and from asking Forgiveness of their Lord, except that the ways of the ancients be repeated with them (i.e. their destruction decreed by Allâh), or the torment be brought to them face to face? (55) And We send not the Messengers except as givers of glad tidings and warners. But those who disbelieve, dispute with false argument, in order to refute the truth thereby. And they treat My Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and that with which they are warned, as jest and mockery! (56) And who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of his Lord, but turns away from them forgetting what (deeds) his hands have sent forth. Truly, We have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this (the Qur'ân), and in their ears, deafness. And if you (O Muhammad SAW) call them to guidance, even then they will never be guided. (57) And your Lord is Most Forgiving, Owner of Mercy. Were He to call them to account for what they have earned, then surely, He would have hastened their punishment. But they have their appointed time, beyond which they will find no escape. (58) And these towns (population, 'Ad, Thamûd) We destroyed them when they did wrong. And We appointed a fixed time for their destruction. (59) And (remember) when Mûsa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "I will not give up (travelling) until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travelling."[] (60) But when they reached the junction of the two seas, they forgot their fish, and it took its way through the sea as in a tunnel (61)

We have explained in detail in this Qur'an, for the benefit of mankind, every kind of similitude: but man is, in most things contentious. (54) And what is there to keep back men from believing, now that guidance has come to them nor from praying for forgiveness from their Lord, but that (they ask that) the ways of the ancients be repeated with them, or the Wrath be brought to them face to face? (55) We only send the Messengers to give glad tidings and to give warnings: but the Unbelievers dispute with vain argument, in order therewith to weaken the truth, and they treat My Signs as a jest, as also the fact that they are warned! (56) And who doth more wrong than one who is reminded of the Signs of his Lord but turns away from them, forgetting the (deeds) which his hands have sent forth? Verily We have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this, and over their ears, deafness. If thou callest them to guidance, even then will they never accept guidance. (57) But your Lord is Most Forgiving, Full of Mercy. If He were to call them (at once) to account for what they have earned, then surely He would have hastened their Punishment: but they have their appointed time, beyond which they will find no refuge. (58) Such were the populations We destroyed when they committed iniquities; but We fixed an appointed time for their destruction. (59) Behold, Moses said to his attendant "I will not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travel." (60) But when they reached the Junction, they forgot (about) their Fish, which took its course through the sea (straight) as in a tunnel. (61)

Et assurément, Nous avons déployé pour les gens, dans ce Coran, toutes sortes d’exemples. L’homme cependant, est de tous les êtres le plus grand disputeur. (54) Qu’est-ce qui a donc empêché les gens de croire, lorsque le guide(1) leur est venu, ainsi que de demander pardon à leur Seigneur, si ce n’est qu’ils veulent subir le sort des Anciens, ou se trouver face à face avec le châtiment. (55) Et Nous n’envoyons des messagers que pour annoncer la bonne nouvelle et avertir. Et ceux qui ont mécru disputent avec de faux arguments, afin d’infirmer la vérité et prennent en raillerie Mes versets (le Coran) ainsi que ce (châtiment) dont on les a avertis. (56) Quel pire injuste que celui à qui on a rappelé les versets de son Seigneur et qui en détourna le dos en oubliant ce que ses deux mains ont commis? Nous avons placé des voiles sur leurs cœurs, de sorte qu’ils ne comprennent pas (le Coran), et mis une lourdeur dans leurs oreilles. Même si tu les appelles vers la bonne voie, jamais ils ne pourront donc se guider. (57) Et ton Seigneur est le Pardonneur, le Détenteur de la miséricorde. S’Il s’en prenait à eux pour ce qu’ils ont acquis, Il leur hâterait certes le châtiment. Mais il y a pour eux un terme fixé (pour l’accomplissement des menaces) contre lequel ils ne trouveront aucun refuge. (58) Et voilà les villes que Nous avons fait périr quand leurs peuples commirent des injustices et Nous avons fixé un rendez-vous pour leur destruction. (59) (Rappelle-toi) quand Moïse dit à son valet: «Je n’arrêterai pas avant d’avoir atteint le confluent des deux mers, dussé-je marcher de longues années». (60) Puis, lorsque tous deux eurent atteint le confluent, Ils oublièrent leur poisson qui prit alors librement son chemin dans la mer. (61)

Dan sesungguhnya Kami telah mengulang-ulangi bagi manusia dalam Al Qur’an ini bermacam-macam perumpamaan. Dan manusia adalah makhluk yang paling banyak membantah. (54) Dan tidak ada sesuatupun yang menghalangi manusia dari beriman, ketika petunjuk telah datang kepada mereka, dan memohon ampun kepada Tuhannya, kecuali [keinginan menanti] datangnya hukum [Allah yang telah berlaku pada] umat-umat yang dahulu atau datangnya azab atas mereka dengan nyata. (55) Dan tidaklah Kami mengutus rasul-rasul melainkan sebagai pembawa berita gembira dan sebagai pemberi peringatan; tetapi orang-orang yang kafir membantah dengan yang bathil agar dengan demikian mereka dapat melenyapkan yang hak, dan mereka menganggap ayat-ayat Kami dan peringatan-peringatan terhadap mereka sebagai olok-olokkan. (56) Dan siapakah yang lebih zalim daripada orang yang telah diperingatkan dengan ayat-ayat dari Tuhannya lalu dia berpaling daripadanya dan melupakan apa yang telah dikerjakan oleh kedua tangannya? Sesungguhnya Kami telah meletakkan tutupan di atas hati mereka, [sehingga mereka tidak] memahaminya, dan [Kami letakkan pula] sumbatan di telinga mereka; dan kendatipun kamu menyeru mereka kepada petunjuk, niscaya mereka tidak akan mendapat petunjuk selama-lamanya, (57) Dan Tuhanmulah Yang Maha Pengampun, lagi mempunyai rahmat. Jika Dia mengazab mereka karena perbuatan mereka, tentu Dia akan menyegerakan azab bagi mereka. Tetapi bagi mereka ada waktu yang tertentu [untuk mendapat azab] yang mereka sekali-kali tidak akan menemukan tempat berlindung daripadanya. (58) Dan [penduduk] negeri itu telah Kami binasakan ketika mereka berbuat zalim, dan telah Kami tetapkan waktu tertentu bagi kebinasaan mereka. (59) Dan [ingatlah] ketika Musa berkata kepada muridnya: [1] "Aku tidak akan berhenti [berjalan] sebelum sampai ke pertemuan dua buah lautan; atau aku akan berjalan sampai bertahun-tahun". (60) Maka tatkala mereka sampai ke pertemuan dua buah laut itu, mereka lalai akan ikannya, lalu ikan itu melompat mengambil jalannya ke laut itu. (61)

Dan demi sesungguhnya Kami telah huraikan dengan berbagai-bagai cara di dalam Al-Quran ini untuk umat manusia, dari segala jenis contoh bandingan dan sememangnya manusia itu, sejenis makhluk yang banyak sekali bantahannya. (54) Dan tiada yang menghalang manusia daripada beriman, ketika datang petunjuk Al-Quran kepada mereka dan daripada memohon ampun kepada Tuhan mereka, melainkan (kerana kedegilan mereka dan kerana mereka) menunggu didatangi azab yang memusnahkan yang telah menimpa orang-orang dahulu atau di datangi azab yang dilihat dan dihadapi. (55) Dan tidak Kami mengutus Rasul-rasul, melainkan sebagai pemberi berita gembira dan pemberi amaran dan orang-orang yang kafir membantah dengan alasan yang salah untuk menghapuskan kebenaran dengan bantahan itu dan mereka jadikan ayat-ayatku, dan amaran yang diberikan kepada mereka sebagai ejek-ejekan. (56) Dan tidaklah ada yang lebih zalim daripada orang yang diberi ingat dengan ayat-ayat Tuhannya, lalu dia berpaling daripadanya dan lupa akan apa yang telah dilakukan oleh kedua tangannya; sesungguhnya (disebabkan bawaan mereka yang buruk itu) Kami jadikan tutupan berlapis-lapis atas hati mereka, menghalang mereka daripada memahaminya dan (Kami jadikan) pada telinga mereka penyumbat (yang menyebabkan mereka pekak) dan jika engkau menyeru mereka kepada petunjuk, maka dengan keadaan yang demikian, mereka tidak sekali-kali akan beroleh hidayat petunjuk selama-lamanya. (57) Dan Tuhanmu Maha Pengampun, lagi melimpah-limpah rahmatnya. Jika Dia mahu menyeksa mereka (di dunia) disebabkan apa yang mereka telah usahakan, tentulah Dia akan menyegerakan azab itu menimpa mereka; (tetapi Dia tidak berbuat demikian) bahkan ditentukan bagi mereka satu masa yang mereka tidak sekali-kali akan dapat sebarang tempat perlindungan, yang lain daripadanya. (58) Dan penduduk negeri-negeri (yang derhaka) itu Kami telah binasakan ketika mereka melakukan kezaliman dan Kami telah tetapkan satu masa yang tertentu bagi kebinasaan mereka. (59) Dan (ingatkanlah peristiwa) ketika Nabi Musa berkata kepada temannya: Aku tidak akan berhenti berjalan sehingga aku sampai di tempat pertemuan dua laut itu atau aku berjalan terus bertahun-tahun. (60) Maka apabila mereka berdua sampai ke tempat pertemuan dua laut itu, lupalah mereka akan hal ikan mereka, lalu ikan itu menggelongsor menempuh jalannya di laut, yang merupakan lorong di bawah tanah. (61)

Hemos explicado a lo largo de esta Recitación todo tipo de ejemplos para los hombres, sin embargo el hombre es lo más discutidor que existe. (54) Y lo que a los hombres les impide creer cuando les llega la guía y pedir perdón a su Señor, no es sino que debe cumplirse en ellos lo que ya ocurrió con las generaciones primitivas o que tiene que llegarles el castigo ante sus propios ojos. (55) Y no enviamos a los enviados sino como gente que anuncia buenas noticias y advierte.Pero los que no creen, discuten con falsedad para anular así la verdad y toman Mis signos y aquello de lo que se les advierte a burla... (56) ¿Y quién es más injusto que aquel que habiendo sido amonestado con los signos de su Señor se aparta de ellos y se olvida de lo que sus manos tendrán que presentar?Es cierto que les hemos cubierto los corazones para que no puedan comprender y hemos puesto sordera en sus oídos de manera que si los llamas a la guía no podrán seguirla nunca. (57) Y tu Señor es el Perdonador, Dueño de la misericordia.Si los tomara en cuenta por lo que adquirieron les habría acelerado el castigo; sin embargo tienen una cita y no encontrarán fuera de Él ningún refugio. (58) Ahí están las ciudades. Los destruimos cuando fueron injustos y pusimos un plazo para su destrucción. (59) Y cuando Musa le dijo a su criado: No cesaré hasta alcanzar la confluencia de los dos mares o haber andado durante mucho tiempo. (60) Y cuando llegaron a la confluencia de los dos mares se olvidaron del pez que tenían y éste tomó su camino hacia el mar como a través de un túnel. (61)
