وَكَذَلِكَ أَعْثَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ لِيَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَأَنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا إِذْ يَتَنَازَعُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ أَمْرَهُمْ فَقَالُوا ابْنُوا عَلَيْهِم بُنْيَاناً رَّبُّهُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِهِمْ قَالَ الَّذِينَ غَلَبُوا عَلَى أَمْرِهِمْ لَنَتَّخِذَنَّ عَلَيْهِم مَّسْجِداً {21} سَيَقُولُونَ ثَلَاثَةٌ رَّابِعُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ خَمْسَةٌ سَادِسُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ رَجْماً بِالْغَيْبِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَبْعَةٌ وَثَامِنُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ قُل رَّبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِعِدَّتِهِم مَّا يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ فَلَا تُمَارِ فِيهِمْ إِلَّا مِرَاء ظَاهِراً وَلَا تَسْتَفْتِ فِيهِم مِّنْهُمْ أَحَداً {22} وَلَا تَقُولَنَّ لِشَيْءٍ إِنِّي فَاعِلٌ ذَلِكَ غَداً {23} إِلَّا أَن يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ وَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ إِذَا نَسِيتَ وَقُلْ عَسَى أَن يَهْدِيَنِ رَبِّي لِأَقْرَبَ مِنْ هَذَا رَشَداً {24} وَلَبِثُوا فِي كَهْفِهِمْ ثَلَاثَ مِئَةٍ سِنِينَ وَازْدَادُوا تِسْعاً {25} قُلِ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا لَبِثُوا لَهُ غَيْبُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَبْصِرْ بِهِ وَأَسْمِعْ مَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا يُشْرِكُ فِي حُكْمِهِ أَحَداً {26} وَاتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِن كِتَابِ رَبِّكَ لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَلَن تَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِ مُلْتَحَداً {27} سورة الكهف (18)

Böylece (insanları) onlardan haberdar ettik ki, Allah`ın vadinin hak olduğunu, kıyametin şüphe götürmez olduğunu bilsinler. Hani onlar aralarında Ashâb-ı Kehf`in durumunu tartışıyorlardı. Dediler ki: "Üzerlerine bir bina yapın. Rableri onları daha iyi bilir." Onların durumuna vâkıf olanlar ise: "Bizler, kesinlikle onların yanıbaşlarına bir mescit yapacağız" dediler. (21) (İnsanların kimi:) "Onlar üç kişidir; dördüncüleri de köpekleridir" diyecekler; yine: "Beş kişidir; altıncıları köpekleridir" diyecekler. (Bunlar) bilinmeyen hakkında tahmin yürütmektir. (Kimileri de:) "Onlar yedi kişidir; sekizincisi köpekleridir" derler. De ki: Onların sayılarını Rabbim daha iyi bilir. Onlar hakkında bilgisi olan çok azdır. Öyle ise Ashâb-ı Kehf hakkında, delillerin açık olması haricinde bir münakaşaya girişme ve onlar hakkında (ileri geri konuşan) kimselerin hiçbirinden malumat isteme. (22) (23) Allah`ın dilemesine bağlamadıkça (inşâallah demedikçe) hiçbir şey için "Bunu yarın yapacağım" deme. Bunu unuttuğun takdirde Allah`ı an ve: "Umarım Rabbim beni, doğruya bundan daha yakın olan bir yola iletir" de. (23) (24) Allah`ın dilemesine bağlamadıkça (inşâallah demedikçe) hiçbir şey için "Bunu yarın yapacağım" deme. Bunu unuttuğun takdirde Allah`ı an ve: "Umarım Rabbim beni, doğruya bundan daha yakın olan bir yola iletir" de. (24) Onlar mağaralarında üç yüzyıl ve buna ilaveten dokuz yıl kalmışlardır. (25) De ki: Ne kadar kaldıklarını Allah daha iyi bilir. Göklerin ve yerin gizli bilgisi O`na aittir. O`nun görmesi de, işitmesi de şâyanı hayrettir. Onların (göklerde ve yerde olanların), O`ndan başka bir yöneticisi yoktur. O, kendi hükümranlığına kimseyi ortak etmez. (26) Rabbinin Kitab`ından sana vahyedileni oku. Onun kelimelerini değiştirebilecek yoktur. O`ndan başka bir sığınak da bulamazsın. (27)

""Und so ließen Wir sie (die Leute) sie finden, damit sie erkennen mögen, daß Allahs Verheißung wahr ist und daß über die Stunde kein Zweifel herrscht. Und da stritten sie (die Leute) untereinander über sie und sagten: ""Errichtet über ihnen einen Bau."" Ihr Herr kennt sie am besten. Jene, deren Ansicht siegte, sagten: ""Wir wollen unbedingt eine Moschee über ihnen errichten."" (21) ""(Manche) werden sagen: ""(Sie waren) drei; ihr vierter war ihr Hund"", und (andere) werden sagen: ""(Sie waren) zu fünft, ihr sechster war ihr Hund"", indem sie in Unkenntnis herumraten, und (andere) sagen: ""(Es waren) sieben; ihr achter war ihr Hund."" Sprich: ""Mein Herr kennt ihre Zahl am besten. Niemand weiß sie, bis auf einige wenige."" So streite nicht über sie, es sei denn, (du hättest) einen klaren Beweis, und suche keine Kunde über sie bei irgendeinem von ihnen (zu erlangen). (22) ""Und sprich nie von einer Sache: ""Ich werde es morgen tun"", (23) ""es sei denn (du fügst hinzu): ""So Allah will"". Und gedenke deines Herrn, wenn du dies vergessen hast, und sprich: ""Ich hoffe, mein Herr wird mich noch näher als diesmal zum rechten Wege führen."" (24) "Und sie blieben dreihundert Jahre lang in ihrer Höhle, und neun wurden hinzugefügt. (25) "Sprich: ""Allah weiß am besten, wie lange sie verweilten."" Ihm gehört das Verborgene der Himmel und der Erde. Wie allsehend ist Er! Und wie allhörend! Sie haben keinen Helfer außer Ihm, und Er teilt Seine Befehlsgewalt mit keinem. (26) "Und verlies, was dir von dem Buche deines Herrn offenbart wurde. Da ist keiner, der Seine Worte verändern könnte, und du wirst außer bei Ihm keine Zuflucht finden. (27)

And thus We made their case known to (the people), that they might know that the Promise of Allâh is true, and that there can be no doubt about the Hour. (Remember) when they (the people of the city) disputed among themselves about their case, they said: "Construct a building over them, their Lord knows best about them," (then) those who won their point said (most probably the disbelievers): "We verily shall build a place of worship over them." (21) (Some) say they were three, the dog being the fourth among them; and (others) say they were five, the dog being the sixth, guessing at the unseen; (yet others) say they were seven, the dog being the eighth. Say (O Muhammad SAW): "My Lord knows best their number; none knows them but a few." So debate not (about their number) except with the clear proof (which We have revealed to you). And consult not any of them (people of the Scripture, Jews and Christians) about (the affair of) the people of the Cave. (22) And never say of anything, "I shall do such and such thing tomorrow." (23) Except (with the saying), "If Allâh will!" And remember your Lord when you forget and say: "It may be that my Lord guides me unto a nearer way of truth than this." (24) And they stayed in their Cave three hundred (solar) years, and adding nine (for lunar years). (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi) (25) Say: "Allâh knows best how long they stayed. With Him is (the knowledge of) the unseen of the heavens and the earth. How clearly He sees, and hears (everything)! They have no Walî (Helper, Disposer of affairs, Protector) other than Him, and He makes none to share in His Decision and His Rule." (26) And recite what has been revealed to you (O Muhammad SAW) of the Book (the Qur'ân) of your Lord (i.e. recite it, understand and follow its teachings and act on its orders and preach it to men). None can change His Words, and none will you find as a refuge other than Him. (27)

Thus did We make their case known to the people, that they might know that the promise of Allah is true, and that there can be no doubt about the Hour of Judgment. Behold, they dispute among themselves as to their affair. (Some) said "Construct a building over them": their Lord knows best about them: those who prevailed over their affair said "Let us surely build a place of worship over them." (21) (Some) say they were three, the dog being the fourth among them; (others) say they were five, the dog being the sixth― doubtfully guessing at the unknown; (yet others) say they were seven, the dog being the eighth. Say thou: "My Lord knoweth best their number; it is but few that know their (real case)." Enter not, therefore, into controversies concerning them, except on a matter that is clear, nor consult any of them about (the affair of) the Sleepers. (22) Nor say of anything, "I shall be sure to do so and so tomorrow"― (23) Without adding, "So please Allah!" And call thy Lord to mind when thou forgettest, and say "I hope that my Lord will guide me ever closer (even) than this to the right road." (24) So they stayed in their Cave three hundred years, and (some) add nine (more). (25) Say: "Allah knows best how long they stayed: with Him is (the knowledge of) the secrets of the heavens and the earth: how clearly He sees, how finely He hears (everything)! They have no protector other than Him; nor does He share His Command with any person whatsoever. (26) And recite (and teach) what has been revealed to thee of the Book of thy Lord: none can change His Words, and none wilt thou find as a refuge other than Him. (27)

Et c’est ainsi que Nous fîmes qu’ils furent découverts, afin qu’ils [les gens de la cité] sachent que la promesse d’Allah est vérité et qu’il n’y ait point de doute au sujet de l’Heure. Aussi se disputèrent-ils à leur sujet et déclarèrent-ils: «Construisez sur eux un édifice. Leur Seigneur les connaît mieux». Mais ceux qui l’emportèrent [dans la discussion] dirent: «Elevons sur eux un sanctuaire»(1). (21) Ils diront: «ils étaient trois et le quatrième était leur chien». Et ils diront en conjecturant sur leur mystère qu’ils étaient cinq, le sixième étant leur chien et ils diront: «sept, le huitième étant leur chien». Dis: «Mon Seigneur connaît mieux leur nombre. Il n’en est que peu qui le savent». Ne discute à leur sujet que d’une façon apparente et ne consulte personne en ce qui les concerne. (22) Et ne dis jamais, à propos d’une chose: «Je la ferai sûrement demain», (23) sans ajouter: «Si Allah le veut», et invoque ton Seigneur quand tu oublies et dis: «Je souhaite que mon Seigneur me guide et me mène plus près de ce qui est correct». (24) Or, ils demeurèrent dans leur caverne trois cents ans et en ajoutèrent neuf (années). (25) Dis: «Allah sait mieux combien de temps ils demeurèrent là. A Lui appartient l’Inconnaissable des cieux et de la terre. Comme Il est Voyant et Audient! Ils n’ont aucun allié en dehors de Lui et Il n’associe personne à Son commandement. (26) Et récite ce qui t’a été révélé du Livre de ton Seigneur. Nul ne peut changer Ses paroles. Et tu ne trouveras, en dehors de Lui, aucun refuge. (27)

Dan demikian [pula] Kami mempertemukan [manusia] dengan mereka, agar manusia itu mengetahui, bahwa janji Allah itu benar, dan bahwa kedatangan hari kiamat tidak ada keraguan padanya. Ketika orang-orang itu berselisih tentang urusan mereka, [1] orang-orang itu berkata: "Dirikanlah sebuah bangunan di atas [gua] mereka, Tuhan mereka lebih mengetahui tentang mereka". Orang-orang yang berkuasa atas urusan mereka berkata: "Sesungguhnya kami akan mendirikan sebuah rumah peribadatan di atasnya". (21) Nanti [ada orang yang akan] mengatakan [2] [jumlah mereka] adalah tiga orang yang keempat adalah anjingnya, dan [yang lain] mengatakan: "[Jumlah mereka] adalah lima orang yang keenam adalah anjingnya", sebagai terkaan terhadap barang yang ghaib; dan [yang lain lagi] mengatakan: "[Jumlah mereka] tujuh orang, yang kedelapan adalah anjingnya". Katakanlah: "Tuhanku lebih mengetahui jumlah mereka; tidak ada orang yang mengetahui [bilangan] mereka kecuali sedikit". Karena itu janganlah kamu [Muhammad] bertengkar tentang hal mereka, kecuali pertengkaran lahir saja dan jangan kamu menanyakan tentang mereka [pemuda-pemuda itu] kepada seorangpun di antara mereka. (22) Dan jangan sekali-kali kamu mengatakan terhadap sesuatu: "Sesungguhnya aku akan mengerjakan itu besok pagi, (23) kecuali [dengan menyebut]: "Insya-Allah". [3] Dan ingatlah kepada Tuhanmu jika kamu lupa dan katakanlah: "Mudah-mudahan Tuhanku akan memberiku petunjuk kepada yang lebih dekat kebenarannya daripada ini". (24) Dan mereka tinggal dalam gua mereka tiga ratus tahun dan ditambah sembilan tahun [lagi]. (25) Katakanlah: "Allah lebih mengetahui berapa lamanya mereka tinggal [di gua]; kepunyaan-Nya-lah semua yang tersembunyi di langit dan di bumi. Alangkah terang penglihatan-Nya dan alangkah tajam pendengaran-Nya; tak ada seorang pelindungpun bagi mereka selain daripada-Nya; dan Dia tidak mengambil seorangpun menjadi sekutu-Nya dalam menetapkan keputusan". (26) Dan bacakanlah apa yang diwahyukan kepadamu, yaitu kitab Tuhanmu [Al Qur’an]. Tidak ada [seorangpun] yang dapat merobah kalimat-kalimat-Nya. Dan kamu tidak akan dapat menemukan tempat berlindung selain daripada-Nya. (27)

Dan demikianlah Kami dedahkan hal mereka kepada orang ramai supaya orang-orang itu mengetahui bahawa janji Allah menghidupkan semula orang mati adalah benar, dan bahawa hari kiamat itu tidak ada sebarang syak padanya; pendedahan itu berlaku semasa orang-orang itu berbantahan sesama sendiri mengenai perkara hidupnya semula orang mati. Setelah itu maka (sebahagian dari) mereka berkata: Dirikanlah sebuah bangunan di sisi gua mereka, Allah jualah yang mengetahui akan hal ehwal mereka. orang-orang yang berkuasa atas urusan mereka (pihak raja) pula berkata: Sebenarnya kami hendak membina sebuah masjid di sisi gua mereka. (21) (Sebahagian dari) mereka akan berkata: Bilangan Ashaabul Kahfi itu tiga orang, yang keempatnya ialah anjing mereka dan setengahnya pula berkata: Bilangan mereka lima orang, yang keenamnya ialah anjing mereka secara meraba-raba dalam gelap akan sesuatu yang tidak diketahui dan setengahnya yang lain berkata: Bilangan mereka tujuh orang dan yang kelapannya ialah anjing mereka. Katakanlah (wahai Muhammad): Tuhanku lebih mengetahui akan bilangan mereka, tiada yang mengetahui bilangannya melainkan sedikit. Oleh itu, janganlah engkau berbahas dengan sesiapapun mengenai mereka melainkan dengan bahasan (secara sederhana) yang nyata (keterangannya di dalam Al-Quran) dan janganlah engkau meminta penjelasan mengenai hal mereka kepada seseorangpun dari golongan (yang membincangkannya). (22) Dan janganlah engkau berkata mengenai sesuatu (yang hendak dikerjakan): Bahawa aku akan lakukan yang demikian itu, kemudian nanti. (23) Melainkan (hendaklah disertakan dengan berkata): Insya Allah dan ingatlah serta sebutlah akan Tuhanmu jika engkau lupa dan katakanlah: Mudah-mudahan Tuhanku memimpinku ke jalan petunjuk yang lebih dekat dan lebih terang dari ini. (24) Dan mereka telah tinggal tidur dalam gua mereka: Tiga ratus tahun (dengan kiraan Ahli Kitab) dan sembilan lagi (dengan kiraan kamu). (25) Katakanlah (wahai Muhammad): Allah jua yang mengetahui tentang masa mereka tidur; bagiNyalah tertentu ilmu pengetahuan segala rahsia langit dan bumi; terang sungguh penglihatanNya dan jelas sungguh pendengaranNya (terhadap segala-galanya)! Tidak ada bagi penduduk langit dan bumi pengurus selain daripadaNya dan Dia tidak menjadikan sesiapapun masuk campur dalam hukumNya. (26) Dan baca serta turutlah apa yang diwahyukan kepadamu dari kitab Tuhanmu; tiada sesiapa yang dapat mengubah kalimah-kalimahNya dan engkau tidak sekali-kali akan mendapat tempat perlindungan selain daripadaNya. (27)

Y de este modo hicimos que los descubrieran para que supieran que la promesa de Allah es verdadera y que la Hora es indubitable.Y discutiendo el caso entre ellos, dijeron: Levantad una edificación encima de donde están. Su Señor los conoce mejor.Dijeron los que eran mayoría: Haremos un lugar de oración encima de donde están. (21) Dirán: Eran tres y con el perro cuatro. Y dirán: Cinco y el sexto el perro, haciendo conjeturas sobre lo desconocido.Y dirán: Siete y su perro el octavo.Di: Mi Señor sabe mejor su número, que sólo unos pocos conocen.Y no discutas acerca de ellos si no es con un argumento claro ni consultes a nadie sobre ellos. (22) Y no digas respecto a algo: Lo haré mañana (23) a menos que añadas: Si Allah quiere. Y recuerda a tu Señor cuando olvides y di: puede ser que mi Señor me guíe a algo que se acerque más que esto a la recta guía. (24) Habían estado en su caverna trescientos años y nueve más. (25) Di: Allah sabe mejor lo que estuvieron, Suyo es lo desconocido de los cielos y de la tierra, nadie oye y ve como Él.Fuera de Él no tienen quien les proteja y a nadie hace copartícipe en Su juicio. (26) Y recita lo que del Libro de tu Señor te ha sido inspirado, no hay quien pueda sustituir Sus palabras y aparte de Él no encontrarás ningún refugio. (27)
