۞ سَيَقُولُ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَا وَلَّٮٰهُمۡ عَن قِبۡلَتِہِمُ ٱلَّتِى كَانُواْ عَلَيۡهَا‌ۚ قُل لِّلَّهِ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقُ وَٱلۡمَغۡرِبُ‌ۚ يَہۡدِى مَن يَشَآءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَٲطٍ۬ مُّسۡتَقِيمٍ۬ (١٤٢) وَكَذَٲلِكَ جَعَلۡنَـٰكُمۡ أُمَّةً۬ وَسَطً۬ا لِّتَڪُونُواْ شُہَدَآءَ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَيَكُونَ ٱلرَّسُولُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ شَهِيدً۬ا‌ۗ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَا ٱلۡقِبۡلَةَ ٱلَّتِى كُنتَ عَلَيۡہَآ إِلَّا لِنَعۡلَمَ مَن يَتَّبِعُ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِمَّن يَنقَلِبُ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيۡهِ‌ۚ وَإِن كَانَتۡ لَكَبِيرَةً إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَى ٱللَّهُ‌ۗ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُضِيعَ إِيمَـٰنَكُمۡ‌ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِٱلنَّاسِ لَرَءُوفٌ۬ رَّحِيمٌ۬ (١٤٣) قَدۡ نَرَىٰ تَقَلُّبَ وَجۡهِكَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ‌ۖ فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ قِبۡلَةً۬ تَرۡضَٮٰهَا‌ۚ فَوَلِّ وَجۡهَكَ شَطۡرَ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ‌ۚ وَحَيۡثُ مَا كُنتُمۡ فَوَلُّواْ وُجُوهَكُمۡ شَطۡرَهُ ۥ‌ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ لَيَعۡلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمۡ‌ۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَـٰفِلٍ عَمَّا يَعۡمَلُونَ (١٤٤) وَلَٮِٕنۡ أَتَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ بِكُلِّ ءَايَةٍ۬ مَّا تَبِعُواْ قِبۡلَتَكَ‌ۚ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِتَابِعٍ۬ قِبۡلَتَہُمۡ‌ۚ وَمَا بَعۡضُهُم بِتَابِعٍ۬ قِبۡلَةَ بَعۡضٍ۬‌ۚ وَلَٮِٕنِ ٱتَّبَعۡتَ أَهۡوَآءَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ‌ۙ إِنَّكَ إِذً۬ا لَّمِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ (١٤٥)

Al-Baqara İnsanlardan bir kısım beyinsizler: Yönelmekte oldukları kıblelerinden onları çeviren nedir? diyecekler. De ki: Doğu da batı da Allah`ındır. O dilediğini doğru yola iletir. (142) İşte böylece sizin insanlığa şahitler olmanız, Resûl`ün de size şahit olması için sizi mutedil bir millet kıldık. Senin (arzulayıp da şu anda) yönelmediğin kıbleyi (Kâbe`yi) biz ancak Peygamber`e uyanı, ökçeleri üzerinde geri dönenden ayırdetmemiz için kıble yaptık. Bu, Allah`ın hidayet verdiği kimselerden başkasına elbette ağır gelir. Allah sizin imanınızı asla zayi edecek değildir. Zira Allah insanlara karşı şefkatli ve merhametlidir. (143) (Ey Muhammed!) Biz senin yüzünün göğe doğru çevrilmekte olduğunu (yücelerden haber beklediğini) görüyoruz. İşte şimdi, seni memnun olacağın bir kıbleye döndürüyoruz. Artık yüzünü Mescid-i Haram tarafına çevir. (Ey müslümanlar!) Siz de nerede olursanız olun, (namazda) yüzlerinizi o tarafa çevirin. Şüphe yok ki, ehl-i kitap, onun Rablerinden gelen gerçek olduğunu çok iyi bilirler. Allah onların yapmakta olduklarından habersiz değildir. (144) Yemin olsun ki (habibim!) sen ehl-i kitaba her türlü âyeti (mucizeyi) getirsen yine de onlar senin kıblene dönmezler. Sen de onların kıblesine dönecek değilsin. Onlar da birbirlerinin kıblesine dönmezler. Sana gelen ilimden sonra eğer onların arzularına uyacak olursan, işte o zaman sen hakkı çiğneyenlerden olursun. (145)

Al-Baqara "Die Toren unter den Menschen werden sagen: ""Was hat sie bewogen, sich von ihrer Qibla abzuwenden, nach der sie sich bisher gerichtet hatten?"" Sprich: ""Allah gehört der Osten und der Westen; Er leitet, wen Er will, zu einem geraden Weg."" (142) "Und so machten Wir euch zu einer Gemeinde von redlicher Gesinnung, auf daß ihr Zeugen seiet über die Menschen und auf daß der Gesandte Zeuge sei über euch. Und Wir haben die Qibla, nach der du dich bisher gerichtet hattest, nur gemacht, damit Wir denjenigen, der dem Gesandten folgt, von demjenigen unterscheiden, der auf seinen Fersen eine Kehrtwendung macht; und dies war wahrlich schwer, außer für diejenigen, die Allah rechtgeleitet hat. Und es ist nicht Allah, Der euren Glauben verloren gehen läßt; wahrlich, Allah ist gegenüber den Menschen Mitleidig, Barmherzig. (143) Wir sehen, wie dein Gesicht sich dem Himmel suchend zukehrt, und Wir werden dich nun zu einer Qibla wenden, mit der du zufrieden sein wirst. So wende dein Gesicht in Richtung der heiligen Moschee, und wo immer ihr auch seid, wendet eure Gesichter in ihre Richtung. Diejenigen, denen das Buch gegeben wurde, wissen bestimmt, daß es die Wahrheit von ihrem Herrn ist. Und Allah ist dessen nicht achtlos, was sie tun. (144) Doch, wenn du denjenigen, denen das Buch gegeben wurde, alle Beweise brächtest, würden sie deine Qibla nicht befolgen. Und du befolgst ihre Qibla nicht; sie befolgen ja selbst untereinander ihre jeweilige Qibla nicht. Doch solltest du ihrem Ansinnen folgen nach dem, was dir an Wissen zugekommen ist, so würdest du bestimmt zu denen gehören, die Unrecht tun. (145)

Al-Baqara The fools among the people (pagans, hypocrites, and Jews) will say, "What has turned them (Muslims) from their Qiblah [prayer direction (towards Jerusalem)] to which they were used to face in prayer." Say, (O Muhammad SAW) "To Allâh belong both, east and the west. He guides whom He wills to a Straight Way." (142) Thus We have made you [true Muslims - real believers of Islâmic Monotheism, true followers of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his Sunnah (legal ways)], a (just) (and the best) nation, that you be witnesses over mankind[] and the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) be a witness over you. And We made the Qiblah (prayer direction towards Jerusalem) which you used to face, only to test those who followed the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from those who would turn on their heels (i.e. disobey the Messenger). Indeed it was great (heavy) except for those whom Allâh guided. And Allâh would never make your faith (prayers) to be lost (i.e. your prayers offered towards Jerusalem). Truly, Allâh is full of kindness, the Most Merciful towards mankind. (143) Verily! We have seen the turning of your (Muhammad's SAW) face towards the heaven. Surely, We shall turn you to a Qiblah (prayer direction) that shall please you, so turn your face in the direction of Al-Masjid- Al-Harâm (at Makkah). And wheresoever you people are, turn your faces (in prayer) in that direction. Certainly, the people who were given the Scriptures (i.e. Jews and the Christians) know well that, that (your turning towards the direction of the Ka'bah at Makkah in prayers) is the truth from their Lord. And Allâh is not unaware of what they do. (144) And even if you were to bring to the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) all the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), they would not follow your Qiblah (prayer direction), nor are you going to follow their Qiblah (prayer direction). And they will not follow each other's Qiblah (prayer direction). Verily, if you follow their desires after that which you have received of knowledge (from Allâh), then indeed you will be one of the Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers.) (145)

Al-Baqara The Fools among the people will say: "What hath turned them from the Qiblah to which they were used?" Say: To Allah belongs both East and West; He guideth whom He will to a Way that is straight. (142) Thus have We made of you an Ummah justly balanced That ye might be witnesses over the nations and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qiblah to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (from the faith). Indeed it was (a change) momentous except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful. (143) We see the turning of thy face (for guidance) to the heavens; now shall We turn thee to a Qiblah that shall please thee. Turn then thy face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque; wherever ye are turn your faces in that direction. The people of the book know well that that is the truth from their Lord nor is Allah unmindful of what they do. (144) Even if thou wert to bring to the people of the Book all the signs (together) they would not follow thy Qiblah; nor art thou going to follow their Qiblah; nor indeed will they follow each other's Qiblah. If thou after the knowledge hath reached thee, wert to follow their (vain) desires―then wert thou indeed (clearly) in the wrong. (145)

LA VACHE Les faibles d’esprit parmi les gens vont dire: «Qui les a détournés de la direction (Qibla)(1) vers laquelle ils s’orientaient auparavant?» - Dis: «C’est à Allah qu’appartiennent le Levant et le Couchant. Il guide qui Il veut vers un droit chemin». (142) Et aussi Nous avons fait de vous une communauté de justes pour que vous soyez témoins aux gens, comme le Messager sera témoin à vous. Et Nous n’avions établi la direction (Qibla) vers laquelle tu te tournais que pour savoir qui suit le Messager (Muḥammad) et qui s’en retourne sur ses talons. C’était un changement difficile, mais pas pour ceux qu’Allah guide. Et ce n’est pas Allah qui vous fera perdre [la récompense de] votre foi, car Allah, certes est Compatissant et Miséricordieux pour les hommes(2). (143) Certes nous te voyons tourner le visage en tous sens dans le ciel. Nous te faisons donc orienter vers une direction qui te plaît. Tourne donc ton visage vers la Mosquée sacrée. Où que vous soyez, tournez-y vos visages. Certes, ceux à qui le Livre a été donné savent bien que c’est la vérité venue de leur Seigneur. Et Allah n’est pas inattentif à ce qu’ils font(3). (144) Certes si tu apportais toutes les preuves à ceux à qui le Livre a été donné, ils ne suivraient pas ta direction (Qibla)! Et tu ne suivras pas la leur; et entre eux, les uns ne suivent pas la direction des autres. Et si tu suivais leurs passions après ce que tu as reçu de science, tu serais, certes, du nombre des injustes. (145)

SAPI BETINA) (Sapi betina Orang-orang yang kurang akalnya [1] di antara manusia akan berkata: "Apakah yang memalingkan mereka [umat Islam] dari kiblatnya [Baitul Maqdis] yang dahulu mereka telah berkiblat kepadanya?" Katakanlah: "Kepunyaan Allah-lah timur dan barat; Dia memberi petunjuk kepada siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya ke jalan yang lurus [2]. (142) Dan demikian [pula] Kami telah menjadikan kamu [umat Islam], umat yang adil dan pilihan [3] agar kamu menjadi saksi atas [perbuatan] manusia dan agar Rasul [Muhammad] menjadi saksi atas [perbuatan] kamu. Dan Kami tidak menetapkan kiblat yang menjadi kiblatmu [sekarang] melainkan agar Kami mengetahui [supaya nyata] siapa yang mengikuti Rasul dan siapa yang membelot. Dan sungguh [pemindahan kiblat] itu terasa amat berat, kecuali bagi orang-orang yang telah diberi petunjuk oleh Allah; dan Allah tidak akan menyia-nyiakan imanmu. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengasih lagi Maha Penyayang kepada manusia. (143) Sungguh Kami [sering] melihat mukamu menengadah ke langit [4], maka sungguh Kami akan memalingkan kamu ke kiblat yang kamu sukai. Palingkanlah mukamu ke arah Masjidil Haram. Dan di mana saja kamu berada, palingkanlah mukamu ke arahnya. Dan sesungguhnya orang-orang [Yahudi dan Nasrani] yang diberi Al Kitab [Taurat dan Injil] memang mengetahui, bahwa berpaling ke Masjidil Haram itu adalah benar dari Tuhannya; dan Allah sekali-kali tidak lengah dari apa yang mereka kerjakan. (144) Dan sesungguhnya jika kamu mendatangkan kepada orang-orang [Yahudi dan Nasrani] yang diberi Al Kitab [Taurat dan Injil], semua ayat [keterangan], mereka tidak akan mengikuti kiblatmu, dan kamupun tidak akan mengikuti kiblat mereka, dan sebahagian merekapun tidak akan mengikuti kiblat sebahagian yang lain. Dan sesungguhnya jika kamu mengikuti keinginan mereka setelah datang ilmu kepadamu, sesungguhnya kamu kalau begitu termasuk golongan orang-orang yang zalim. (145)

Al-Baqara Orang-orang bodoh (yang kurang akal pertimbangannya) akan berkata: Apa sebabnya yang menjadikan orang-orang Islam berpaling dari kiblat yang mereka mengadapnya selama ini? Katakanlah (wahai Muhammad): Timur dan barat adalah kepunyaan Allah (maka ke pihak mana sahaja kita diarahkan Allah mengadapnya, wajiblah kita mematuhiNya); Allah yang memberikan petunjuk hidayatNya kepada sesiapa yang dikehendakiNya ke jalan yang lurus. (142) Dan demikianlah (sebagaimana Kami telah memimpin kamu ke jalan yang lurus), Kami jadikan kamu (wahai umat Muhammad) satu umat yang pilihan lagi adil, supaya kamu layak menjadi orang yang memberi keterangan kepada umat manusia (tentang yang benar dan yang salah) dan Rasulullah (Muhammad) pula akan menjadi orang yang menerangkan kebenaran perbuatan kamu. (Sebenarnya kiblat kamu ialah Kaabah) dan tiadalah Kami jadikan kiblat yang engkau mengadapnya dahulu itu (wahai Muhammad), melainkan untuk menjadi ujian bagi melahirkan pengetahuan Kami tentang siapakah yang benar-benar mengikut Rasul serta membenarkannya dan siapa pula yang berpaling tadah (berbalik kepada kekufurannya) dan sesungguhnya (soal peralihan arah kiblat) itu adalah amat berat (untuk diterima) kecuali kepada orang-orang yang telah diberikan Allah petunjuk hidayat dan Allah tidak akan menghilangkan (bukti) iman kamu. Sesungguhnya Allah Amat melimpah belas kasihan dan rahmatNya kepada orang-orang (yang beriman). (143) Kerap kali Kami melihat engkau (wahai Muhammad), berulang-ulang menengadah ke langit, maka Kami benarkan engkau berpaling mengadap kiblat yang engkau sukai. Oleh itu palingkanlah mukamu ke arah Masjidilharam (tempat letaknya Kaabah) dan di mana sahaja kamu berada maka hadapkanlah muka kamu ke arahnya dan sesungguhnya orang-orang (Yahudi dan Nasrani) yang telah diberikan Kitab, mereka mengetahui bahawa perkara (berkiblat ke Kaabah) itu adalah perintah yang benar dari Tuhan mereka dan Allah tidak sekali-kali lalai akan apa yang mereka lakukan. (144) Dan demi sesungguhnya! Jika engkau bawakan kepada orang-orang (Yahudi dan Nasrani) yang telah diberikan Kitab, akan segala keterangan (yang menunjukkan kebenaran perintah berkiblat ke Kaabah itu), mereka tidak akan menurut kiblatmu dan engkau pula tidak sekali-kali akan menurut kiblat mereka dan sebahagian dari mereka juga tidak akan menurut kiblat sebahagian yang lain. Demi sesungguhnya! Kalau engkau menurut kehendak hawa nafsu mereka setelah datang kepadamu pengetahuan (yang telah diwahyukan kepadamu), sesungguhnya engkau, jika demikian, adalah dari golongan orang-orang yang zalim. (145)

SURA DE LA VACA Dirán los hombres necios: ¿Qué les apartó de la dirección hacia la que miraban?*Di: De Allah son el oriente y el occidente y Él es el que guía a quien quiere hacia un camino recto. (142) De este modo hemos hecho de vosotros una comunidad de en medio* para que diérais testimonio de los hombres* y para que el Mensajero lo diera de vosotros.Y la dirección a la que te volvías, la establecimos para saber quién seguiría al Mensajero y quién se volvería atrás. Esto sólo es difícil para aquéllos a los que Allah no ha guiado.No es propio de Allah haceros perder vuestra creencia, es cierto que Allah es Piadoso y Compasivo con los hombres. (143) Te hemos visto mirar al cielo con insistencia y vamos a darte una dirección que te satisfaga: vuelve tu rostro hacia la Mezquita Inviolable y vosotros, dondequiera que estéis, volvedlo en dirección a ella.Los que recibieron el Libro saben que es la verdad procedente de tu Señor.Y Allah no está inadvertido de lo que hacen. (144) Los que recibieron el Libro no seguirán la dirección hacia la que miras aunque vayas a ellos con toda clase de signos prodigiosos; ni tú vas a seguir la suya ni ninguno de ellos seguirá la de los otros.Si siguieras sus deseos después del conocimiento que te ha venido, serías de los injustos. (145)
